NRW’s Golding Contractors agrees one-year extension at Coronado’s Curragh mine

NRW Holdings Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary, Golding Contractors Pty Ltd, has agreed a one-year extension to its existing mining services contract with Coronado Global Resources Inc at the Curragh mine near Blackwater in Queensland, Australia.

The extension, valued at approximately A$200 million ($141 million), will commence in January 2027.

Back in 2021, Golding and Coronado Curragh, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Coronado Global Resources, signed a letter of intent (LoI) to extend the current six fleet mining services contract beyond September 30, 2021, to December 31, 2026.

NRW Chief Executive Officer, Jules Pemberton, said, “We are pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with Coronado at Curragh. This extension reflects our ongoing commitment to the site and to supporting this significant client.”
