Fluor secures thumbs up for Sierra Gorda’s fourth grinding line expansion project in Chile

NYSE-listed Fluor Corporation has received full notice to proceed under its engineering, procurement and construction management contract with Sierra Gorda Sociedad Contractual Minera (SGSCM) for the fourth grinding line expansion project, in Chile. SGSCM operates a large-scale openpit copper-molybdenum mine about 60 km south of Calama, in Chile’s Antofagasta Region.
