On November 1, the delivery ceremony for Zoomlion’s ZE2000G and ZE960G hydraulic mining excavators, both backhoes, was held at the open-pit coal mine of Huaneng Northern Weijiamao Coal Power Co Ltd, part of Huaneng Group.
The 210 t ZE2000G large excavator is Zoomlion’s main mining and stripping equipment developed for large open-pit mines. The OEM says it features a self-developed multi-pump multi-valve electro-hydraulic control system, precise flow distribution, excellent overall fuel consumption, and resistance to extreme cold down to -40°C. It also says it boasts strong flexibility and adaptability, fully meeting the needs of various application types. The bucket capacity range is 12-14 m³.
In recent years, Zoomlion says it has been deeply engaged in the mining machinery sector, forming a product matrix covering a series of mining excavators in different size classes. It has also launched new energy mining equipment focusing on pure electric, hybrid, and towing electric technologies, providing mining customers with one-stop solutions covering the entire process of drilling, excavation, installation, transportation, breaking, and drainage. It says its mining machinery business both domestically and internationally has grown rapidly.
Mining trucks include the world’s largest hybrid – the 300 t payload ZTE520 plus the diesel-electric 120 t payload ZTE210, which are both rigid trucks. Wide body trucks include the 100 t payload ZT165HEV hybrid and all electric 100 t payload ZT165EV. In addition to hydraulic excavators, Zoomlion has also produced the ZRS35G 35 m³ electric rope shovel.
Looking ahead, Zoomlion Mining Machinery “will continue to adhere to the development direction of targeting high-end, global, and full lifecycle value,” helping mining enterprises it says improve production efficiency and reduce operating costs with higher-quality products and more efficient services, promoting high-end, green, and intelligent development in mining.
