Putzmeister Underground Division has signed a distribution agreement with Cannon Mining Latin America for the Mexican market. This strategic partnership it says will strengthen customer relationships, increase the availability of specialist underground mining solutions and provide more locally accessible service across the country.
Under this agreement, Cannon Mining Latin America will offer Putzmeister Underground’s underground mining portfolio in Mexico, complementing its existing equipment range and expanding its ability to support different stages of the mining cycle.
Cannon Mining, part of the US-based J. H. Fletcher & Co. group, currently offers solutions such as drilling and bolting jumbos, and utility vehicles for underground operations. The addition of Putzmeister Underground will extend this offering with specialist equipment for concrete transport and spraying, providing customers with a more comprehensive range of solutions for their operations.
Key additions include concrete spraying equipment from the WETKRET family, such as the WETKRET 4 and SPM 4210 WETKRET, alongside the MIXKRET range, designed for concrete transport in underground mining environments.
The choice of Cannon Mining Latin America reflects a vision shared by both companies: combining specialist technology with strong technical and after-sales support, while keeping close customer relationships at the heart of their approach.
