BOTON Brasil Conveyors Services Pecém Ltd was officially established on October 14, 2026, marking an important step in BOTON’s continued expansion of its global service network and strengthening its presence in South America. BOTON, based in Wuxi, China is one of the world’s fastest growing mining conveyor belt suppliers, already counting Rio Tinto, BHP, Hancock Iron Ore and others among its major clients.
Located in São Gonçalo do Amarante, Ceará, Brazil, near the Port of Pecém, BOTON Brazil will enhance BOTON’s local service capabilities and provide more responsive conveyor system solutions for customers across mining, steel, cement, ports, and other industrial sectors.
South America is one of the world’s important resource and industrial regions, with abundant mineral resources and a strong presence in mining, metallurgy, logistics, and energy industries.
BOTON says it has already been supporting industrial customers across South America for years, including Brazil, Chile, Peru, and other markets. Through continuous investment in conveyor belt technology, intelligent monitoring solutions, engineering capabilities, and customer services, BOTON also says it has accumulated extensive experience in demanding industrial applications.
BOTON’s commitment to Brazil has been strengthened before through strategic cooperation initiatives, including an investment memorandum signed with the Government of Minas Gerais in 2024. BOTON’s conveyor solutions it says have been applied in major industrial operations in Brazil, supporting customers with reliable conveyor belt products and intelligent monitoring technologies to improve operational safety, reliability, and efficiency.
The establishment of BOTON Brazil it argues will bring BOTON’s technical expertise closer to customers in the region, enabling faster technical support, stronger project coordination, and enhanced lifecycle services.
The company stated: “The establishment of BOTON Brazil reflects BOTON’s ongoing commitment to developing a more localised and customer-focused global service system. Beyond conveyor belt manufacturing, BOTON continues to expand its capabilities in intelligent monitoring, engineering services, and lifecycle support, providing integrated conveyor system solutions that help industrial customers improve safety, efficiency, and long-term operational reliability.”
It adds: “From Australia and Africa to Central Asia and South America, BOTON continues to build a global service network supporting major industrial markets worldwide. Moving forward, BOTON Brazil will serve as an important bridge connecting BOTON’s technology, expertise, and service capabilities with customers and partners across South America.”
