Large underground mobile fleet up for grabs in Finsch asset sale

Proceedings are well underway in the asset disposal programme for Finsch Diamond Mine (Pty) Ltd (In Business Rescue), situated near Lime Acres in the Northern Cape.

Park Village Auctions (PVA) was appointed to facilitate the structured sale process, which aims to realise maximum value from the substantial mining, processing, and supporting infrastructure. Following the approval of the Business Rescue Plan, the disposal has focused on identified high-value assets, with further plant, machinery, equipment, vehicles, and infrastructure introduced as the programme has progressed.

“This disposal represents an exceptional opportunity for local and international mining operators to acquire well-maintained equipment,” says PVA Director Clive Lazarus. “The structured sale format allows buyers to access premier assets, from core store stock to heavy underground machinery, as we work to maximise returns under the approved Business Rescue Plan.”

Several initial sales, including timed online auctions and invitations to submit offers, have concluded successfully, the results of which will be published with permission in due course.
