From February 28-March 3, 2027, the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SME) will host the MINEXCHANGE 2027 SME Annual Conference & Expo at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.
MINEXCHANGE is where thousands of the world’s mining professionals, students and exhibitors enjoy over 100 world-class technical sessions covering all aspects of the industry and countless networking opportunities, the organisers say, adding that the 2027 edition will include the largest Expo Hall in MINEXCHANGE history, featuring over 725 exhibiting companies. Student competitions and poster contests, plus an SME Awards Celebration are also part of the event.
In addition to a compelling Keynote Session and a roster of expert breakfast and luncheon speakers, MINEXCHANGE offers a technical program unmatched in depth and breadth of information, organisers claim. Brand new for 2027 is the debut of the Spotlight Session Series located within the
Expo Hall, featuring five unique, groundbreaking sessions beginning with the Robert E. Murray Innovation Award Lecture on Monday, March 1.
MINEXCHANGE 2027 will also host new cross cutting technical sessions covering critical topics relevant to the entire mining community
including:
- AI/robotics/automation;
- Critical minerals;
- Water management and treatment; and
