Northstone reports 10.8 metres at 3.3 g/t gold equivalent in Serbia

Northstone Resources reported new infill drilling results at Barje, a prospect at its Tlamino gold-silver project in southern Serbia, supporting continuity as it advances toward a maiden JORC resource. The company is targeting the resource for the December 2026 quarter. One intercept measured 10.8 metres at 3.3 grams per tonne gold equivalent.

A second intercept measured 17.6 metres at 1.8 grams per tonne gold equivalent. The results add mineralised intersections within the target zone, while Northstone continues drilling areas where mineralisation remains open. The significance of the work is resource conversion, rather than any single intercept.

Infill drilling that defines a deposit’s geometry, continuity and grade distribution can support a formal resource model. That process can help determine whether a deposit may support open-pit or underground concepts, metallurgical testing and preliminary mine design.

Northstone’s wider Serbian portfolio includes Timok East, which provides exposure to a geological setting separate from Tlamino. The Tlamino project adds geographic diversification to a mining sector described as dominated by eastern Serbia and the Bor-Timok district. It also broadens Serbia’s exploration narrative beyond copper to precious metals and polymetallic systems.

The next material milestones for Tlamino are the maiden resource, follow-up drilling and metallurgical work. Evidence that resource growth can be converted into a credible development pathway is also among the milestones identified for the project.
